About the Artist

I graduated from Diamond Oaks Art School in Cincinnati, Ohio and was employed by Queen City Suburban Press.    Shortly after that, I served in the Navy and also the Coast Guard  relocating on the  East Coast.    Art always remained

 a pleasurable hobby  for me.   I  made portraits of  my children and family pets, painted wall murals , became a cartoonist for the local paper and won several awards for my artwork.

 

I especially enjoy  creating pet portraits.  I love capturing  the spirit of the animal and its distinguishing features.  I cherish the moments of joy captured  by the owner as he/she beholds the finished product.
